Every figure on this site is republished from an official statistical agency, with the attribution and the terms that agency asks for. Most of it is Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0); the two exceptions are named below.

Australian Bureau of Statistics. Attribution: Source: Australian Bureau of Statistics. Licence: CC BY 4.0, creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0. The ABS does not endorse this site or its use of the data.

Reserve Bank of Australia. Attribution: Source: Reserve Bank of Australia. The cash rate is not published under CC BY 4.0: the RBA’s Copyright and Disclaimer Notice treats the cash rate as excluded material and permits its republication under the separate terms in its Section 4, with the attribution required by its Section 3. The RBA does not endorse this site or its use of the data.

Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. Attribution: Source: FRED, Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. The AUD/USD rate is the noon buying rate published by a United States federal agency, the Federal Reserve Board, in its H.10 release, and redistributed by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis through FRED. It is not a CC BY 4.0 work, and FRED’s own terms of use have not been reviewed for this site. It is republished here with that attribution and a link to the release. Neither body endorses this site or its use of the data.

This site’s own material (page text, computed changes, charts) is CC BY 4.0. Attribute it as Numbra and link to the page.

Downloads. Each CSV begins with a comment line carrying the attribution, the licence and the URL of the official release it came from; lines starting with # should be skipped by readers. Each JSON carries the same fields plus every passport: the archive file, its SHA-256 hash and the retrieval date. CSV rows run oldest first; JSON rows run newest first.
