Method

The passport chain. A loader fetches each release from the source’s own API or file. The raw response is archived with its SHA-256 hash, and every value stored from it carries a passport: the archive path, the hash, the retrieval date and the source URL. A value with no passport cannot be published; the export refuses it.

Revisions. When a source revises a figure, the new value is stored beside the old one with its own passport. Pages show the latest; the release log records every landing, including revisions found by the nightly run.

Rounding. A value is shown to the number of decimals the source published, and is rounded before any scaling. Changes are computed from the rounded figures the release printed.

Status. A hollow square marks a figure the source flagged as preliminary. A filled square marks every other figure: final, revised, or published without a flag.

Charts. Drawn at build time from the same data as the table beneath them; the table is the accessible form. The dotted line is the series median. No scripts run in your browser.
